The Psychiatry in Medical Settings course returns for its sixth year. The course will
provide up to date reviews of depression, anxiety, dementia, suicide risk, substance
use, and personality factors in medical-surgical patients. Updates will be provided on
somatic symptom disorders, functional neurologic disorders, functional
gastrointestinal disorders, and psycho-oncology. Each day, a featured topic will be
covered in depth by a group of medical and behavioral specialists through wellcoordinated
didactic presentations, panel discussions, and interactive workshops. For
